Getting there · Munich
Getting to the Allianz Arena for Oasis
Take the U6 underground line north to Fröttmaning, about 16 minutes from Marienplatz, then walk around 15 minutes up the esplanade to the Allianz Arena. Driving is possible but the stadium car park must be booked and traffic on the A9 is heavy.
U6 to FröttmaningRecommended
The direct line from the city centre (Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz, Münchner Freiheit) to the stadium. Extra trains run on event days, but expect crowd control on the platform afterwards.
Esplanade from Fröttmaning
From the station it is a 10 to 15 minute walk up the wide esplanade to the stadium entrances. Signposted and step-free.
U6 to Kieferngarten
One stop south of Fröttmaning. Walking there after the show can avoid the worst of the platform queues.
Allianz Arena car park
One of Europe's largest stadium car parks sits beside the A9 motorway. Spaces for concerts are usually sold in advance and exits are slow after the show.
Taxi
Taxi ranks are set up near the stadium on event days. After the show expect long waits; arranging a pick-up near Kieferngarten can be faster.
Flying in: Munich Airport (MUC)
Munich Airport is about 25 km from the Allianz Arena. Take the S-Bahn (S1 or S8) into the city and change to the U6 north to Fröttmaning. Allow about an hour in total; on show days it can be quicker to drop bags at your hotel first.
Driving and parking
The stadium is right beside the A9 motorway with a large multi-storey car park, but concert parking must normally be booked in advance and leaving takes a long time. Public transport is faster for most visitors.
Getting home after the show
The U6 runs extra trains after concerts, with platform access managed in waves. If the queue at Fröttmaning is long, walk to Kieferngarten. Night buses and late U-Bahn services cover most of the city.
