Where to stay in Munich for Oasis
With 3 big stadium nights at the Allianz Arena (2, 3 and 6 July 2027), rooms in Munich will be in short supply. These are the areas that work best, ranked by how easy the trip home is after the encore.
- 01about 6 km
Schwabing
Lively, leafy and on the U6, so you can ride straight to the stadium and back.
- 02about 10 km
Altstadt & Marienplatz
The historic centre, with the most hotels and a direct U6 connection to Fröttmaning.
- 03about 8 km
Maxvorstadt
Museums, cafés and student bars between the centre and Schwabing.
- 042 to 6 km
Freimann & Garching
Closest to the stadium, mostly business hotels and good value when the centre is full.
- 05about 10 km
Hauptbahnhof
Convenient for arrivals by train or airport S-Bahn, with many mid-range hotels.
Booking tips for show nights
Book a refundable rate as soon as you have tickets, then keep checking: prices around stadium concerts tend to peak in the final fortnight, but cancellations also appear in show week. If Munich itself is full, the last option on this list is a realistic fallback, as long as you check the last train or transfer back before you book.
Whichever area you choose, the route to Allianz Arena matters more than the distance. Take the U6 underground line north to Fröttmaning, about 16 minutes from Marienplatz, then walk around 15 minutes up the esplanade to the Allianz Arena. Driving is possible but the stadium car park must be booked and traffic on the A9 is heavy. See getting to Allianz Arena for every option.
