Slane Castle is an 18th-century castle on the River Boyne in County Meath, about 45 km north-west of Dublin. Since 1981 its grounds have hosted Ireland's most famous open-air concerts: the land falls away from the castle towards the river in a natural amphitheatre, giving one of the most spectacular settings in live music.
Combining Slane with Munich
Slane is around 1,407 km from Munich, so you will be flying between the two. If you are planning two nights on the tour, book the Slane leg early: two days at Slane Castle on the first weekend of September 2027. Dates, ticket advice, shuttle buses and live coverage for both Oasis shows in Ireland.
Getting to the venue: Most fans reach Slane Castle on official shuttle buses from Dublin city centre and nearby towns, booked in advance. Driving is possible with pre-booked parking, but expect long queues on the N2 and N51. There is no train station in Slane.
